- Read the allowances and exclusions, not just the total.
Prepare the property and household brief.
- Property address and ownership type
- Detached ADU, garage conversion, attached ADU, or JADU
- Intended household use and important rooms
- Available surveys, drawings, permits, title, or association documents
- Photographs of the proposed area, access, electrical equipment, garage, grades, walls, and major improvements
- Known deadlines framed as planning needs rather than promised construction dates
